How we’ll work together
-
We hop on a brief phone call. You share what’s bringing you here; I share how I work. Together we decide if moving forward feels right.
-
We explore your story—medical, psychological, social, and cultural.
We map current symptoms, sources of stress, and areas of strength.
We outline initial goals (e.g., “sleep through the night,” “feel less stuck at work,” “understand my feelings better”).
You leave with a preliminary plan and clear next steps.
-
I synthesize our intake into a roadmap that weaves together:
Medication Recommendations – evidence‑based options plus what to watch for.
Therapy Focus – core themes, desired frequency (weekly, bi‑weekly, or an intensive block).
Lifestyle Targets – bite‑size actions for sleep, nutrition, movement, and breathwork.
-
Therapy + Medication Management (45 min)
We usually meet weekly or every other week. These sessions weave talk therapy with careful medication check‑ins—tracking progress, fine‑tuning doses, and practicing new skills in real time.Medication‑Only Check‑In (30 min)
Once things are steady, we can stretch these visits to every 4–12 weeks. We review side effects, make dose tweaks, and order labs when needed—quick, focused, and practical. -
Secure Messaging Portal – brief questions, refill requests, and resource sharing.
Digital Handouts & Trackers – sleep logs, mood apps, breathwork recordings.
Care Coordination – with outside therapists, primary‑care physicians, or other healers (with your consent).
-
Throughout our work together we review how things are moving along:
Standardized mood or anxiety scales.
Your own “success markers” (e.g., fewer 3 a.m. wake‑ups, better focus at work).
Needed adjustments—step down meds, step up therapy intensity, or celebrate wins and pivot to maintenance.
Each touchpoint is a deliberate way to reconnect with your body, rebalance your nervous system, and re‑imagine fulfillment on your terms.
How Billing Works
Insurance & Private Pay
I am out of network with all insurance plans except for Yale Health Magellan.
For clients not using Magellan, services are self-pay (private pay). This allows our work to remain flexible, confidential, and tailored to your needs—without insurance-driven limitations.
Superbills for Out-of-Network Plans
If you are using your out-of-network benefits, I can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) at the end of each month that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan and typically depends on your deductible and out-of-network benefits.
Payment Methods
Credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted. Payment is processed at the time of each appointment.
Sliding-Scale Availability
A limited number of reduced-fee slots are reserved for clients with financial need. If cost is a barrier, feel free to reach out and we can discuss options.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens—please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Missed or late-canceled appointments are billed at a fee.
