Who is Bloom For?
Bloom Integrative Psychiatry is designed for thoughtful individuals navigating burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, or major life transitions. Many patients are professionals and creatives seeking not only symptom relief, but a deeper understanding of themselves and the patterns shaping their lives.
Care is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, with particular attention to the experiences of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals.
How we’ll work together
-
15 minutes
All prospective patients begin with a brief introductory call. During this conversation, we’ll discuss what’s bringing you in, review how the practice works, and determine whether weekly psychodynamic psychotherapy feels like a good fit.
If it seems aligned, we’ll schedule your initial consultation.
-
Your first appointment is a 75-minute comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and consultation. This session marks the beginning of a deeper exploration of your internal world, relationships, and patterns over time.
We may discuss:
current concerns and goals
past therapy or medication experiences
sleep, stress, and daily routines
relationships, work, and life transitions
I offer weekly psychodynamic psychotherapy as the foundation of care, with medication management integrated when helpful. This initial meeting allows us to determine whether this approach feels like a good fit.
Together, we’ll develop a personalized plan for ongoing work.
-
45-minute ongoing sessions
Ongoing work is grounded in weekly psychodynamic psychotherapy, with medication management incorporated when helpful.
Sessions often focus on:
understanding emotional patterns and relational dynamics
exploring challenges in work, relationships, and identity
tracking symptoms and overall progress
adjusting medications when appropriate
developing supportive strategies for sleep, stress, and wellbeing
Weekly sessions provide the structure for deeper, ongoing work.
Over time, this process supports greater self-understanding and meaningful, sustained change.
Appointments are conducted via secure telehealth for adults located in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
How Billing Works
Insurance & Private Pay
I am out of network with all insurance plans. Services are self-pay (private pay). This allows our work to remain flexible, confidential, and tailored to your needs—without insurance-driven limitations.
Superbills for Out-of-Network Plans
If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, I can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) at the end of each month that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Coverage varies by plan and typically depends on your deductible and out-of-network benefits. Reimbursement is not guaranteed
Payment Methods
Credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted. Payment information is securely stored and charged after each appointment.
Sliding-Scale Availability
I do not have openings for sliding scale patients at this time.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens—please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Missed or late-canceled appointments are billed at a fee.
